The design of Giant`s "CONTEND" series model is an all-round aluminum road bike which is said to be a hybrid of "TCR" series (models which has an excellent acceleration for racing) and "DEFY" series (models which is specialized for comfort-oriented long ride). By riding this bike, you can enjoy agile driving and also gentle ride.
In addition to its Giant's original high-performance lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame, it is equipped with a wide range of gear settings which you can adjust to many cycling scenes such as long rides to hill climbs. Since the saddle is compatible with the UNICLIP system, you can install tail lights and saddle bags. The front fork of the front wheel is made of carbon, it has excellent vibration absorption.
One of the features is that all of the components are made of highly reliable Shimano products.
It is a road bike that you can ride in the upright position and it is recommended as an entry model for road bike or as a sub bike (second bike) for commuting. Among the CONTEND series, CONTEND SL will be a higher model, so after riding CONTEND 1, it is also recommended to compare with SL and rent at Cycle Trip.
